Ahsoka Episode 3 Review: Time to Fly, Time for Fun!
Buckle up, fellow Star Wars enthusiasts, because Ahsoka is back with another action-packed episode that will leave you wanting more! In “Part Three: Time to Fly,” we’re treated to some Jedi training, political negotiations, and a thrilling space battle that will have you on the edge of your seat. Though it may be frustratingly short, Ahsoka still manages to deliver its trademark fun and excitement.
Let’s start with the Jedi training session between Ahsoka and Sabine. Directed by the talented Steph Green, this episode showcases Ahsoka’s expertise and Sabine’s determination to become a Jedi. And hey, who can resist a callback to Luke Skywalker’s iconic visor from the original Star Wars movie? It’s moments like these that make you appreciate the rich history of the Star Wars universe.
Meanwhile, Hera takes on the more bureaucratic side of things, negotiating with influential senators in the New Republic. While it may not be as captivating as the Jedi training, Hera’s meeting features a fan-favorite cameo appearance by Chancellor Mon Mothma. After Andor’s complex portrayal, it’s always a joy to see Mon Mothma grace the screen.
Now, let’s talk about the incredible space battle sequence that steals the show. When Ahsoka and Sabine arrive at Seatos, they find themselves facing off against a fleet of starfighters led by Hati and Marrok. What starts as a typical battle quickly escalates into something truly extraordinary. Ahsoka, in a display of sheer awesomeness, dons a spacesuit and takes down enemy ships with her lightsabers while balancing on the wing of a ship. And if that’s not enough, the battle takes an unexpected turn as our heroes navigate through a pack of space whales. It’s pure visual spectacle that will leave you with a huge grin on your face.
While the B-plot involving the politics of the New Republic may not be as exciting, Ahsoka’s incredible performance, brought to life by the magnetic Rosario Dawson, keeps us engaged. The warmth and charisma she brings to the role elevate the series and turn it into a truly engaging experience.

Ahsoka and Sabine find themselves hunted by mercenaries, and the stage is set for a high-stakes manhunt. Brace yourselves for intense action and heart-pounding moments as our heroes fight to stay one step ahead.
With its mix of breathtaking action, fan-pleasing cameos, and the promise of even greater adventures to come, Ahsoka continues to captivate fans. This episode may be shorter than we’d like, but it still manages to leave us hungry for more. So, grab your lightsabers and get ready for the ride of a lifetime, because Ahsoka is about to take you on a rollicking intergalactic adventure!
