Eileen the Crow: A Guide to Questing with a Feathered Assassin
Eileen the Crow, the enigmatic assassin of Bloodborne, is as friendly as a bird with a dagger can be. She’s like that aunt who gives you gifts but keeps an eye on you, making sure you don’t go too crazy over bloodlust. Let’s embark on Eileen’s questline together, shall we? Meeting Eileen Before Her Quest
To find Eileen in Central Yharnam, you’ll need the tracking skills of a bloodhound. Don’t worry if you missed her at the start, though. You can catch up with her at the luxurious Cathedral Ward. Just unlock three gates and voila! She’ll be waiting for you overlooking the city. She’s the one with feathers and a scowl, hard to miss.
Eileen will kindly share a few gestures and four Bold Hunter’s Marks with you. It’s like receiving a gift from murder Santa! Remember, though, Eileen’s quest doesn’t officially begin until you meet her in the Cathedral Ward. So, polish your weapons and let’s continue.
Beginning Eileen’s Questline
Unlocking gates is all fun and games until you realize one stubborn gate won’t budge without the Hunter Chief Emblem. Oh well, down the rabbit hole we go. Once you’ve used the emblem to unlock Vicar Amelia’s boss room, Eileen will appear at Oedon Chapel. She advises you to stay away from the Tomb, where a deranged Hunter named Henryk awaits. Now, we wouldn’t want to leave a madman unattended, would we?
How To Kill Henryk
Eileen will be eyeballing the Tomb of Oedon for her next target. Go ahead and speak to her at Oedon Chapel, but fair warning, it’s going to get messy. Eileen won’t shy away from a fight, and neither should you. Prepare your weapons, head to the Tomb, and lend her a hand against Henryk.

This battle is the turning point for Eileen’s fate. Help her prevail, and you’ll be rewarded with the Heir Rune and Eileen’s begrudging gratitude. Remember, killing Father GascoGameTopice earlier in the game is a prerequisite for this gesture of appreciation. It’s like receiving a “thank you” from a professional assassin. How heartwarming!
How To Kill Rom
After defeating Rom, the Vacuous Spider, you’ll find Eileen at the entrance of the Grand Cathedral. She may be severely wounded, but she’s determined to finish what she started. However, let her take care of her own business this time. Stand back and behold her final confrontation with the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst.
When all is said and done, Eileen will recognize your invaluable assistance and reward you with the Crow Hunter Badge. It’s like getting a gold star from the Assassin Academy. With the badge in hand, you’ll have full access to the Hunter of Hunter Covenants. Time to embrace your newfound glory!
Becoming The Hunted
Now, let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Or in this case, the vengeful hunter in your path. If you leave Eileen unattended and meet the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst at the Grand Cathedral, you might regret it. Eileen isn’t too challenging to defeat, but her sudden hostility might leave you scratching your head. Is it a test? Did she wake up on the wrong side of the nest? We may never know.
