Dave the Diver isn’t just your everyday fishing and sushi-serving adventure. Nope, there’s more to it than that! You’ll find yourself completing exciting missions and taking on big bosses throughout the game. Each chapter ends with an epic boss battle, but guess what? There are also some optional bad guys you can conquer along the way.
And speaking of optional bosses, your first one is part of the ‘Stormy Night’ mission given to you by Sato. This sneaky creature will show up in the evening during Chapter Three, and he wants you to defeat a dangerous creature lurking within a vortex. Why, you ask? Well, to earn yourself the prestigious Marinca Super Rare Card, of course! So let’s dive into the details, shall we?
How To Find The Vortex
When the sun sets, Sato will appear mysteriously to fill you in on this exciting new phenomenon called the vortex. It’s not some hidden treasure buried deep in the ocean depths; no, it’s actually relatively close to the surface at around 15 meters depth. You just need to swim up to it and interact with it like you’re making friends with a long-lost cousin.
How To Defeat The Truck Hermit Crab
Now, before you tackle the vortex, you might wanna grab some O2 cans from those handy-dandy dispatch chests nearby. But don’t go worrying your pretty little head about weapons, because they won’t do diddly-squat against the formidable Truck Hermit Crab boss.
See, this boss is no ordinary enemy. Its colossal truck body is practically impenetrable to normal attacks. So what’s a diver to do, you ask? Well, have no fear, I’ve got you covered! As the boss attacks, be on the lookout for those pesky red explosive barrels dropping from the ceiling. You’ll wanna snatch those bad boys up and carry them over the Truck Hermit Crab. Then, with perfect aim, drop ’em on top and watch the fireworks. Ka-boom!
