Bungie’s Emblem Contest: Creative Guardians Unite!
Destiny 2 players, get ready for some fashion and customization extravaganza! Bungie has given the community a chance to flex their creative muscles by hosting a contest to design a brand new emblem for the game. And boy, did they deliver! Custom emblems have been a hit in the past, with Bungie releasing special ones as rewards for supporting charitable causes like Black Lives Matter and disaster relief. The Bungie Foundation is back at it again, sifting through a sea of submissions to crown the winner of this emblem competition.
But before we dig into the emblem goodness, let’s take a quick trip to Destiny 2’s current season. We find ourselves in the back half of the Season of the Deep, where a thrilling adventure awaits. A cry for help from Deputy Commander Sloane brings us back to Titan, only to discover a mysterious creature dwelling in its methane oceans. This creature could be the key to fighting The Witness and unlocking the secrets of its origin. Of course, being a Guardian is never easy, so we also have Hive god Xivu Arath to deal with. Time to show them who’s boss!
Now, let’s get down to business. The emblem contest winner has been announced, and it’s an absolute gem. Twitter user Alex@a_w_mont’s emblem, aptly named “A Guardian’s Notebook,” took home the prize. The design looks like it was ripped straight from a high school student’s notebook, complete with doodles and sketches. It features iconic Destiny elements like Saint-14, Gjallarhorn, a ghost, and the Traveler. Bravo, Alex! Your creativity knows no bounds.
While Bungie didn’t spill the tea on all the juicy details about the contest and the other submissions, they did express their gratitude to everyone who participated. The Guardians of the community truly showcased their deep understanding of what Destiny is all about. Cheers to all the talented artists who poured their hearts and souls into their submissions! Keep shining bright.
Now, what’s next on the community contest agenda, you ask? Bungie has a plethora of options to choose from. Will they let us decide on a new weapon ornament designed by a community artist? Or perhaps a challenge to create the most epic Guardian fashion statement? Only time will tell. Just remember, Guardians, the possibilities are endless, and your artistic brilliance knows no bounds.
