Destiny 2 Season of the Witch: Unleash the Hive and Hilarity!
Bungie is at it again, giving us a taste of the Destiny 2 Season of the Witch with some awesome new features. Get ready for an emotionally rich and humorous adventure as we dive into the world of the Hive and their mischievous antics.
First up, we have a brand new PvP map called Multiplex. This Vex-themed playground is like a trip through a retro sci-fi movie, with a lo-fi aesthetic that will transport you back to the good old days of gaming. The Multiplex map is a melting pot of Vex structures, offering plenty of cover for those chaotic gunfights. It’s centered around a massive Vex pillar, which is basically the Vegas strip of the map. So you can bet it’s going to be a hot spot for some intense action.

But that’s not all! Bungie has also spiced up the Crucible with a new party mode called Relic. It’s like a treasure hunt, but instead of gold, you get to bash your opponents’ heads in with relic items from past raids and seasonal activities. Picture this: you’re running around with a badass Aegis shield from the Vault of Glass raid, or maybe you prefer the elegant Synaptic Spear from Season of the Risen. And for those who crave some spooky vibes, there’s even the beloved Scythe from Season of the Haunted. But before you can channel your inner superhero, you’ll need to charge up your relic energy by defeating enemies with your weapons and abilities. Once that meter is full, head to the relic depot on the PvP map to claim your prize and wreak havoc on your foes.
Now, let’s talk about the story. Season of the Witch brings us face to face with the Hive god Xivu Arath once again. Our trusty Hive ghost Immaru approaches Eris Moon, and little ol’ us, with a wild plan to resurrect none other than Savathun the Witch Queen. Why? Well, apparently she’s the key to entering the portal through the Traveler in order to stop the Witness from bringing forth the dreaded Final Shape. It’s like a soap opera, but with more explosions and cool gear.
But wait, there’s more! Bungie has heard our prayers and renewed their focus on PvP for Season of the Witch. With the Multiplex map and the Relic mode, they are showing their dedication to keeping the Crucible fresh and exciting. And that’s not all… The popular Forsaken map, The Citadel, is making a comeback in Season 23! Plus, Bungie’s new “PvP Strike” team is working tirelessly to bring us a steady flow of new maps and modes. So get your trigger fingers ready, because the Crucible is going to be lit!
