Blizzard Promises to Address Diablo 4 Patch Feedback…Eventually
It seems that Blizzard may have stirred up a little hell with their latest patch for Diablo 4. Players wasted no time in expressing their infernal frustration and disappointment with the heavy-handed nerfs implemented in patch 1.1.0.
Diablo 4 players, particularly Sorcerers, were left spellbound by the power reduction to their class. To add fuel to the fire, the popular endgame activity, Helltides, has been made even harder, and the opening of Mystery Chests now requires more coin, making progress slower than a snail on laudanum. But fear not, the meager Cinder drop rate is just a devilish bug, not an intended feature.
Not stopping there, Blizzard unleashed a barrage of nerfs that struck at the very core of established builds. They vaporized experience bonus for slaying monsters at higher levels and took a sledgehammer to crit strike damage, vulnerable damage, cooldown reduction, and certain affixes. It’s enough to make a seasoned adventurer question their career choices.

They’ll be evolving Diablo 4 through its Seasons, but players can’t help but feel that their progression has hit a speed bump from hell. However, this hellish backlash couldn’t come at a worse time for Blizzard. Season 1, the Season of the MalGameTopicant, is set to launch on July 20.
