Diablo 4: Unlocking Season Blessings & Their Effects

Season Blessings in Diablo 4: Power Up for Fun and Fortune!

The long-awaited first season of Diablo 4, the Season of the MalGameTopicant, has finally arrived! And with it comes an array of exciting changes, including a staple of the Seasonal content formula – Season Blessings. These permanent buffs will make your journey through the game faster and more rewarding, or at the very least, more entertaining.

But what exactly are Season Blessings? Well, my fellow adventurers, they are magical bonuses that apply to all characters participating in the new content of Diablo 4. Please note that these bonuses are only available to fresh Seasonal characters created after July 20, 2023. Sorry, existing characters, you’ll have to sit this one out!

To unlock these fantastic bonuses, you’ll need to earn Smouldering Ashes in the Battle Pass. And let me tell you, these Ashes are worth their weight in gold (literally!). Once you’ve accumulated enough Ashes, you can spend them to unlock Tiers in five different Season Blessings. Check out the table below for a quick rundown of these blessings:

Season Blessing Tier 1 Bonus
Urn of Aggression +3% boost to XP from monster kills
Urn of Bargaining +5% boost to Gold received from selling items to Vendors
Urn of Reclamation +10% boost to chance of finding Rare Materials when Salvaging
Urn of Prolonging +15% increase in duration of Elixirs
Urn of MalGameTopicance +5% boost to chance of finding upgraded MalGameTopicant Hearts

Now here’s the strategy, my friends: prioritize unlocking the XP gain, Rare Materials chance while Salvaging, and MalGameTopicant Heart upgrades. These will help you breeze through the pre-World Tier 4 content faster than a speeding arrow. And hey, who doesn’t want to level up and find shiny loot more quickly?

But hold your horses! Before you go on a shopping spree for Gold and Elixir boosts, listen up. There are diminishing returns on these bonuses. Some wise players discovered that XP gain is capped at an 8% boost. So, budget your Smouldering Ashes wisely and invest where it counts!

To unlock and equip your shiny new Season Blessings, head to the Season 1 home page in Diablo 4. Open the Seasonal Blessing menu on the left side of the Season screen and choose your desired blessings. But wait, there’s a catch! You’ll need to be at least Level 40 and have progressed the Seasonal Battle Pass to Rank 8. No sneak peeks for low-level adventurers!

As you level up and earn more ranks in the Battle Pass, you’ll receive additional Smouldering Ashes. The more Ashes you have, the more powerful your Seasonal bonuses become. So keep venturing forth, slaying monsters, and reap the rewards!

It’s important to note that when the season ends, your Season Blessings will bid adieu as well. They’ll be transferred to the Eternal Realm, so enjoy their benefits while you can during Season 1.

So grab your weapons, gather your party, and embark on an epic adventure in Diablo 4! It’s available on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S. Unleash your inner demon slayer and let the Season Blessings guide your way to glory!
