How to Have “Ready Player Fun” with Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley!
After unlocking Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley by following her initial questline, get ready to level up your friendship with this spunky character. Once you reach friendship level 4, Vanellope will offer you a quest called “Ready Player Fun,” and boy, does it bring the fun! So, buckle up and let’s take a wild ride through this quest.
Completing “Ready Player One”
When you accept the “Ready Player One” quest from Vanellope, you’ll see a list of tasks to complete. Don’t worry, these are pretty straightforward. Here’s what you need to do:
- Mine 3 gems
- Catch 5 fish
- Plant 30 crops
- Collect 30 crops or fruits
These tasks are a piece of cake and won’t require much effort. But if you’re feeling impatient and want to speed things up, try planting some Wheat. It grows in under a minute, making your questing life a whole lot sweeter!
Once you’ve finished all the tasks, it’s time for some hide-and-seek action. Vanellope wants to hide somewhere dark, but before she disappears, she instructs you to head over to Scrooge McDuck’s store. This is where the real adventure begins!
Unveiling Vanellope’s Hiding Spot
With excitement bubbling inside you, it’s time to find Vanellope. Sure, you could ask the villagers for hints, but where’s the fun in that? Head straight to the Vitalys Mines in Sunlit Plateau and prepare for an epic candy hunt! Here’s what you need to do:

- Enter the mines and go left.
- Look for a trail of candy; Vanellope loves leaving sweet surprises.
- Follow the candy trail through the mines until you find her.
- Voila! Vanellope will be behind some mine carts, eagerly waiting to be found.
After you’ve successfully located Vanellope, speak to her again, and she’ll challenge you to a race back to the mine’s entrance. Hover your way back and rejoice in your victory as you beat Vanellope in this exhilarating race.
But wait, there’s one more task left! Vanellope insists that you catch three fish in under three minutes. Easy-peasy, lemon squeezy, right? Lucky for you, there’s a small river just outside the Vitalys Mines with plenty of fish waiting to be caught. Toss your line into the flowing water, and in less than a minute, you’ll have your three fish. Now, it’s time to celebrate, as you’ve completed the “Ready Player One” quest!
