Disney Dreamlight Valley’s summer-themed DreamSnaps Update has brought some exciting new features, including a photography-oriented game feature called DreamSnaps, as well as the arrival of the lovable Vanellope Von Sweetz in the valley. If you’re a fan of Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph, you’ll surely remember Sugar Rush, the candy-themed racing game where Wreck-It Ralph and the cheeky Vanellope Von Sweetz find themselves in some sugary, sweet hijinks.
Now, players of Disney Dreamlight Valley can have Vanellope as a guest in their valley and embark on a quest to help her build her iconic racing kart. And just like everything else in Sugar Rush, this kart is made entirely out of candy! To construct Vanellope’s sugary speed machine, players will need to gather cooking materials. So, let’s dive into the craziness of Sugar Rush and learn how to make each part of Vanellope’s Sugar Kart in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Important Note: The player needs to craft four wheels but only one of each of the other items. Sadly, they won’t get their own Sugar Kart just yet; that’s locked behind Vanellope’s maximum Friendship Level quest.
How to Craft Vanellope’s Sugar Kart
Vanellope’s Sugar Kart is a crucial element for Vanellope’s Level 4 Friendship quest, “Extreme Biome Makeover.” It can be crafted at a cooking station (not a crafting station) once the player has collected the necessary materials.

To make the Sugar Kart Seat, the player needs to collect the following items: – 1 Sugar Rush Seat Fudge – 1 Wheat – 1 Milk – 1 Butter

How to Make Sugar Kart Tail
To make the Sugar Kart Tail, the player needs to collect the following items: – 1 Sugar Rush Tail Fudge – 1 Wheat – 1 Sugarcane – 1 Butter
How to Make Sugar Kart Wheel
To make the Sugar Kart Wheel, the player needs to collect the following items: – 4 Sugar Wheel Fudge – 4 Wheat – 4 Sugarcane – 4 Egg
Once the items for these quests are crafted, Vanellope will inform the player that she still needs additional parts to get the kart up and running. The player should head to WALL-E’s house to collect the sparkling batteries and circuit boards from the floor. And finally, they need to find and speak with Remy, who will provide the glue needed to stick all the parts together.
Once the player has gathered all the necessary items, they should hand them over to Vanellope, completing the quest, “Extreme Biome Makeover” in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Get the Ingredients for Vanellope’s Sugar Kart
Apart from the Sugar Rush Fudge ingredients, which Vanellope will provide, the player will need to collect the cooking ingredients themselves. Fortunately, these ingredients are all easily obtainable, though some may require waiting for them to grow.
How to Get Wheat
Wheat is grown from Wheat Seeds purchased from Goofy’s Stall located in the Peaceful Meadow. Sometimes, Goofy might even have fully grown stalks of wheat available for purchase in limited quantities.
How to Get Butter, Milk, and Eggs
The cooking ingredients Butter, Milk, and Eggs are unlocked upon completing Remy’s quest and unlocking his restaurant, Chez Remy. Inside the restaurant, players will find a shelf full of ingredients available for sale in the back of the kitchen, including these three ingredients required for Vanellope’s quest.
How to Get Sugarcane
Sugarcane is grown from Sugarcane Seeds purchased from Goofy’s Stall in Dazzle Beach. Alternatively, players can purchase fully grown sugarcane when it’s available in Goofy’s stall. It’s a good idea to grow extra sugarcane for crafting candy-themed decor to enhance the surroundings of Vanellope’s house.
How to Get Electronic Chips and Spare Batteries
The electronic scrap parts Vanellope needs for her vehicle’s motor can be collected in WALL-E’s house. The player doesn’t need to speak with WALL-E or wait for him to be home; they just need to head inside and collect the items scattered on the floor.
How to Get Glue (Super Sticky Frosting)
The glue Vanellope needs is actually a sticky concoction created by the rat chef Remy. Before providing a tube of the glue needed to assemble the car, Remy will entertain players with hilarious anecdotes about his experiences with the stuff.
