If you’ve been adventuring through the world of Honkai: Star Rail, you’ve probably come across the infamous Gacha system by now. Every three weeks, a new limited-character banner is unveiled, and these exclusive characters can only be obtained through it. One character that fans have been eagerly awaiting is Kafka, known for her charming personality in the story.
In the second phase of the version 1.2 update, Kafka is finally introduced as a playable character. But here’s the catch: if you want to make Kafka powerful, you’ll have to travel across different planets in the game to gather the necessary Ascension and Trace materials. Kafka Ascension Materials

But hold your horses! If you’re just starting out in the game, you’ll need to reach Trailblaze Level 60 and raise your Equilibrium level to unlock the final Ascension. Why do you need to upgrade Kafka to level 80, you ask? Well, because she thrives on ATK Percent and Break Effect. Crit building? Not a concern for Kafka!
Speaking of materials, you can find the required mob drops for Kafka by defeating the various Antimatter Legion enemies in the Herta Space Station. And if you’re up for an extra challenge, some of these drops can also be found in the Xianzhou Luofu’s final areas. As for the Stagnant Shadow required for world boss drops, you can discover them in the Stargazer Navalia area.
