Larian Promises More Divinity Adventures in the Future!

Larian CEO, Swen Vincke, reassured fans of the beloved Divinity franchise that they haven’t been forgotten. In an interview with GameTopic, Vincke confirmed that Larian will definitely be returning to the Divinity universe at some point. “It’s our own universe we built, so we’re definitely gonna get back there at some point. We will get back there at some point,” Vincke exclaimed excitedly.

This news comes as a relief to all the Divinity fans out there, especially since Larian has been focused on the highly anticipated release of Baldur’s Gate 3. But fear not, Divinity lovers, the adventures in Rivellon will continue to captivate us in the future.

Baldur’s Gate 3 – A Mammoth Undertaking by Larian!

Baldur’s Gate 3, the upcoming RPG from Larian, is shaping up to be an absolute monster of a game. With a mind-boggling 17,000 variations in its ending and the potential for a 100-hour “standard” playthrough, Larian is certainly going all out with this one. And did we mention you can romance a grizzly bear? That’s right, Baldur’s Gate 3 is offering players the chance to find love in the form of a person turned into a grizzly bear. Talk about a wild romance!

The game, set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, is Larian’s first foray into the iconic Baldur’s Gate series. Utilizing the 5e ruleset and turn-based combat, Larian is bringing a fresh perspective to the franchise. The game is set to release on August 3 for PC, with the PS5 version following on September 6. As for Xbox Series X|S players, unfortunately, there’s no concrete release window yet due to some development issues with split-screen functionality on Xbox Series S.
