Nintendo Goes All-In on Pikmin Merchandise

Hold on to your hats, Pikmin fans! The release of Pikmin 4 is just around the corner and Nintendo is pulling out all the stops with its merchandising game.

If you’re in the UK or Ireland, you’re in for a treat. The latest addition to the My Nintendo Store is a range of Pikmin-inspired bud vases. Yes, you heard that right. These adorable vases are designed in the shape of Pikmin and are perfect for showcasing your favorite flowers.

But wait, it gets even better. You can customize your Pikmin vase to match the in-game characters. Want your Pikmin to be a red-hot fireball? Just pop a red flower in there! Feeling blue? Go for the blue flower and watch your Pikmin come to life. You can even mix and match different flowers for some Pikmin Bloom vibes.

Now, let’s talk about the Vase of Cursed Feet. While the attention to detail in the facial features is impressive, I can’t help but feel a little unsettled by those feet at the base of the vase. It’s like they have a mind of their own and might just scuttle away when you’re not looking. But hey, if you’re into that kind of thing, more power to you!

If you’re already reaching for your wallet, hold your horses for a moment. The vases are available for pre-order right now, but there’s a limit of one per customer. You can choose from three colors: red, yellow, and blue. A single vase will set you back £17.99, or you can splurge on the whole collection for £53.99 (I know, it’s not much of a discount, but hey, they’re too cute to resist!). And just so you know, these vases are exclusive to the My Nintendo Store, just like that awesome Pikmin logo T-shirt Shigeru Miyamoto was rocking when he confirmed the release of Pikmin 4 this year.

By the way, if you’re not already hyped for Pikmin 4, you should be. Our very own Tom got a chance to preview the game and he thinks it’s a return to form. And guess what? You can try it out for yourself with the demo that’s available now. So what are you waiting for? Get those Pikmin-loving hands on it!
