As Kazuya’s actual girlfriend, Ruka has the most to lose in this romantic circus. Her aggression towards Chizuru and her wild reactions to her growing bond with Kazuya might seem over the top, but can you blame her?

While Ruka’s approach may be a tad blunt, her uneasiness and discomfort are valid. After all, Kazuya agreed to be her boyfriend. Ruka even quit her rental agency half a year ago, all in an effort to legitimize their relationship and avoid any agency drama. She’s invested so much effort, so her extreme reaction to Chizuru’s unwelcome entrance is more than understandable.
To convince Ruka to back off, Kazuya spilled the beans about his movie plans with Chizuru. As a result, Ruka is now part of their movie-making escapade. This three-way deal might have cooled Ruka’s aggression, but it’s still a ticking time bomb in Kazuya’s secret-keeping mission.
Chizuru’s Hurricane of Emotions
Chizuru has always maintained that her relationship with Kazuya is purely fake and for rent. But deep down, her heart seems to be singing a different tune. Thanks to Kazuya’s selfless actions and the biased influence of Grandma Sayuri, Chizuru’s emotions are reaching scorching temperatures.

Trouble Looms with the New Neighbor
Adding yet another character to Kazuya’s tangled web of love was a recipe for disaster. Mini Yaemori’s chaotic personality was a clear foreshadowing of the chaos about to unfold. As luck would have it, Mini managed to record Ruka’s meltdown on the balcony, exposing Kazuya’s complex relationships and Chizuru’s career as a rental girlfriend.
But fear not! Mini doesn’t have a romantic interest in Kazuya. After forcing him to confess his secret, she develops a newfound respect and even affectionately calls him ‘Master.’ According to Mini, it’s obvious that Chizuru has feelings for Kazuya, especially considering she’s put up with his countless mishaps for an entire year.
Unlike the rest of the harem, Mini just wants Kazuya and Chizuru to end up together. With another ally in his corner, things might just be looking up for Kazuya’s quest for true love. It’s only a matter of time before these two lovebirds confess their feelings openly. Though, let’s be real, a happily-ever-after is still hanging in the distance like a cruel tease.
