Shadow Gambit - Top Crew Members to Revive First
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew – Your Unforgettable Pirate Adventure!
Welcome to the exciting world of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew! In this game, you have the freedom to unlock your party members in any order you want. But hey, let’s face it, some pirates are just more badass and versatile than others. So, we’ve taken the liberty to rank them for you based on their overall strength and general all-around skills. Get ready to set sail on the Red Marley, revive your crew, and embark on an epic adventure!
Afia Manicato – The Undisputed Captain
Ah, Afia, the heart and soul of Shadow Gambit. She’s the main character, the Navigator of the Red Marley, and the one responsible for the revival of all your crew members. But that’s not all! Afia packs a mean dash-attack that can take out enemies from a distance. She can also freeze enemies temporarily, perfect for sneaking around or causing a distraction. Think of Afia as your yardstick for measuring the awesomeness of other pirates in your crew.
Suleidy – Bushes and Sneak Attacks!
When it comes to pure melee combat, Toya of Iga reigns supreme. But we recommend unlocking Suleidy first because she’s almost as capable as Toya, with some seriously useful secondary abilities. Suleidy can conjure bushes out of thin air, giving you cover and a spot to hide bodies. And guess what? Bodies hidden in her bushes disappear instantly! Her distraction technique is top-notch too, forcing enemies to turn around and walk away from you in a straight line. Trust us, Suleidy is one badass pirate you don’t want to miss.

Toya of Iga – The Ultimate Swordsman
Toya is the king of killing with his lightning-quick swordsmanship. His execution moves are faster than a speeding bullet, and he can attach his spirit sword to the ground or even an enemy, guaranteeing an instant kill. With his distraction technique, Toya can lure lower-level guards in the direction of his bird call, only to shank them when they’re out of sight. He may not have the flashiest secondary abilities, but when it comes to disposing of guards swiftly, Toya is your go-to pirate!
Teresa la Ciega – The Sharpshooter Sniper
Meet Teresa, your sharpshooting pirate. Armed with a crossbow, Teresa is a silent killer from a distance. Need to take out a guard from afar without alerting others? Teresa’s got you covered. While her shots may attract attention, you’ll usually be far enough for the guards to go on a wild goose chase. Her distraction technique limits an enemy’s vision cone temporarily, giving you the perfect opportunity to sneak past or dash in for the kill. Just remember, her crossbow only carries one bolt, so coordinate with your crew to create openings for her deadly aim.
Quintin Aalbers – The Expert Baiter
Quintin is not your typical killer, but he makes up for it in other devious ways. As a treasure hunter, he excels at attracting and eliminating guards. He throws out his golden skull as a distraction that can draw in guards from a distance, making it perfect for those tricky situations. Quintin’s unique ability allows him to use his fishing pole to instantly yank a disposed body into his treasure chest for a quick disappearance. Oh, did we mention he can even use his fishing pole on teammates to relocate them? Quintin may not be the deadliest, but he’s the master of trickery.
John Hughes Mercury – The Stealthy Phantom
Mercury is the sneakiest pirate in the bunch. He has the incredible ability to dive into the Below and stay hidden indefinitely. While others rely on cover, Mercury becomes the cover itself as guards are powerless to spot him there. He can spring up from the ground for an instant kill, but be cautious not to attract too much attention. His distraction technique revolves around a foul-smelling fish, which is effective but relatively basic. Mercury’s true strength lies in his stealth, a skill you’ll need when maneuvering through treacherous situations.
Gaelle le Bris – The Explosive Cannoness
Gaelle is the cannoness of the Red Marley, and boy, does she bring the fireworks! Her special ability allows her to load downed guards into her cannon and launch them at other guards. Hilarious, right? But remember, the knocked-out guard will make noise and can be woken up by other guards. So be strategic with Gaelle’s explosive antics. Her distraction technique involves a firecracker, which is decent but not mind-blowing. Keep in mind that Gaelle is a bit slow and clumsy compared to her agile crewmates. Handle her with care!
Pinkus von Presswald – The Mind Controller
At first glance, Pinkus seems like the ultimate character with mind-controlling abilities. He can take control of guards, allowing you to freely stroll past others or even execute kills in secret. However, Pinkus can only control standard-level guards by default, and his range of movement is limited to where he took over the body. It’s a bit challenging to find the perfect approach in heavily guarded areas, which is where Pinkus should shine. His distraction technique involves striking up a conversation with other guards, but it lasts for a disappointingly short time. Pinkus is a unique character, but one that requires some finesse to master.
Congratulations, you’ve just assembled an epic crew of pirates ready to conquer the world of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew! Get ready to set sail, explore, and unleash your pirate skills in this unforgettable adventure. So, grab your cannons, swords, and crossbows, and let the gaming voyage begin!
