The anime series is based on Ken Wakui’s manga of the same name, which ran for an impressive 31 volumes from March 2017 to November 2022. It quickly gained a passionate fan following due to its gripping storyline and memorable characters. Thankfully, the anime adaptation has been able to capture that same magic, bringing the pages of the manga to life.

The series director, Koichi Hatsumi, will be returning to helm the project, ensuring that we’ll be getting more of the incredible storytelling and intense action that we’ve come to love. Plus, the amazing composer Hiroaki Tsutsumi, scriptwriter Yasuyuki Mutō, and character designers Keiko Ōta and Kenichi О̄nuki are back as well, guaranteeing that the essence of Tokyo Revengers remains intact.
As for the voice cast, many familiar voices will be reprising their roles, including the brilliant Nobunaga Shimazaki as the new Black Dragon boss, Izana Kurokawa. We’ll also be treated to Kouki Uchiyama, the voice of Tomura Shigaraki from My Hero Academia, as Shion Madarame, Daisuke Namikawa as Ran Haitani, Hiro Shimono as Rindo Haitani, Tetsu Inada as Kanji Mochizuki, and Seiichirō Yamashita as Kakucho.
