The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – A Guide to Side Quest Shenanigans

Unleashing Mayhem and Fun in Hyrule
In the mystical world of Hyrule, players embark on an epic quest to find Princess Zelda and bring prosperity back to the troubled land. Along the way, there are countless side quests to dive into, offering a smorgasbord of adventure and delightful distractions. From monster-hunting to wagon-fixing, and even ancient ruins exploration, our hero Link has his hands full as he traverses the vast landscapes of Hyrule.
Welcome to Mine-Cart Land!

Prepare yourself for an uproarious journey through the Goron Theme Park’s “Mine-Cart Land”! This zany amusement land, run by three spirited brothers, is a wild ride for thrill-seekers. Featuring various courses and archery challenges, it offers a side quest experience like no other. In this guide, we’ll dive into the exhilarating final course that hurtles down from the Peak of Death Mountain.
Unlocking the Side Quest – An Adventure in Itself
Before you can embrace the chaos of Mine-Cart Land, a few tasks await completion. To unlock this side quest, players must first conquer the previous pair of courses. Doing so will inspire the ambitious Kabetta to create the legendary Death Mountain Course. However, this tantalizing endeavor only becomes available after completing the main quest, “Yunobo of Goron City.” It’s time to save Goron City from its Marbled Rock Roast crisis and set the brothers free to unleash their roller coaster magic.
The Thrill Ride to Remember
Once you’ve triumphed over the Quickshot Course, your next destination is the Summit of Death Mountain. Prepare yourself for a heart-pounding encounter with Kabetta, who awaits your arrival. If you’ve already stumbled upon the Sitsum Shrine, teleporting there and then ascending to the platform where Kabetta eagerly lingers will save you some legwork.
As the ride commences, Kabetta will reveal the grand objective: hit 8 targets while hurtling down Death Mountain aboard his speeding cart. Beware the ticking clock, as lacking the swiftness to reach the bottom in time might result in an unfortunate loss—though, in practice, you’d have to go out of your way to sabotage yourself.

For those struggling to land their shots, timing is everything. Wait for the cart to draw near before releasing your arrow, minimizing drop-off and increasing your chances of nailing the target. Are the targets proving elusive? Consider employing the precision zoom of the mighty Gerudo Bow for an extra edge. Fear not, for this course is brimming with plenty of targets, granting you leeway to hit the mark even if your aim falters.
Bountiful Rewards Await

Once you conquer this adrenaline-pumping challenge, Kabetta will shower you with the coveted Goron Fabric. This marvelous fabric holds the key to obtaining a captivating new paraglider pattern at the Dye Shop in Hateno Village. Fancy a rematch? You can relive the exhilaration for a mere 20 Rupees. And if arrows are in short supply, fret not! For a modest fee of 50 Rupees, you can secure a pack of 10 arrows to keep your quiver brimming with projectile potential.
