The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Caves Galore and Mischievous Bubbulfrogs!
Ah, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom! A game packed with adventure, mystery, and over 140 caves waiting to be discovered and explored. These caves are not just any old caves, mind you. They are treasure troves of valuable materials and unique goodies. Plus, they are always guarded by mischievous Bubbulfrogs. Defeat them, claim their precious Bubbul Gems, and mark those caves as cleared! You’ll even get the satisfaction of seeing a little checkmark on the world map. Talk about a productive day!
Now, let’s turn our attention to one particular cave that has caught everyone’s attention – the Puffer Beach Overhead Cave. This cave is a challenge, my friends. Getting to it and claiming the Phantom Helmet inside won’t be a walk in Hyrule Field. You’ll need to put your thinking cap on and get creative with Link’s abilities.
So, where the heck is this Puffer Beach Overhead Cave? Time to don our adventurer hats and head to coordinates (0283, -3851, 0004) on Puffer Beach! This beach is located on the Faron Sea coastline, slightly northeast on the world map. If you’re feeling lost, fear not! The Utsushok Shrine near Highland Stable, or Popla Foothills Skyview Tower are great teleport locations to get you near the sandy shores. From there, just head southwest towards the coast.
As you reach Puffer Beach, keep an eye out for two Rocket Zonai devices waiting to be utilized at coordinates (0258, -3884, 0002). These little rockets will come in handy for reaching the cave’s entrance. But before you leap into action, be smart and save your game at this location. Trust me, it will save you from going back to square one if your first attempts don’t go as planned. Rockets ready? Let’s blast off!
To access the cave, you’ve got a couple of options. One is to equip any shield (preferably a sturdy one) and use the Fuse ability. Attach a rocket to your shield using ZL, and you’re good to go! If you’re feeling extra adventurous, use the Ultrahand to bring the rockets below the cave entrance and fuse them to other objects. You’ve got options, my friends! But personally, I find rocket shields to be the easiest method. Nothing beats soaring through the sky with a shield and a rocket, right?

Alright, rocketeers, here’s the moment you’ve been waiting for. Position Link directly below the cave entrance at coordinates (0283, -3851, 0004), equip your rocket shield, and hold ZL to propel yourself upwards. Feel the exhilaration as you ascend into the cave! Don’t forget to use your paraglider to land safely near the entrance. It’s a breathtaking experience, but please be careful and avoid any accidental slam attacks. We don’t want you crashing down without any rockets left or a previous save!
Inside the cave, you’ll encounter two Horroblins and a handful of mineral veins. Watch out for the blue Horroblin with that ridiculously long fused stick weapon. You definitely don’t want to get knocked out of the cave! So, how do you deal with this formidable foe? Simple – use a Bomb Flower! Blow that Horroblin away, claim the stick as your own, and show them who’s boss.
As you venture deeper into the cave, you’ll come across a small structure housing the treasure chest containing the elusive Phantom Helmet. Exciting, right? But before you get too carried away, there’s the matter of the Bubbulfrog lurking around. Conquer that slippery little critter, and the helmet is yours for the taking!
Once you’ve fully explored the cave and still have a Rocket Zonai device in your possession, head to the nearby pond at coordinates (0287, -3872, 0000). Here, you’ll discover a Korok Cork Pull puzzle patiently waiting for you. Spot the floating bobber, fuse the rocket to the cap, and activate it with a swift attack. Boom! The cork is pulled, revealing a hidden Korok. It’s like finding treasure within treasure!
And there you have it, brave adventurers! The Puffer Beach Overhead Cave and its secrets are yours to conquer. So, gear up, sharpen your swords, and get ready for an unforgettable journey within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Don’t waste any more time – dive right in and become the hero Hyrule deserves!
