Unlocking the Royal Guard Uniform
Step 1: The Royal Guard Cap
First things first – we need to find the Royal Guard Cap. Head to the daunting Hyrule Castle and make your way to Princess Zelda’s Room. It’s a bit tricky to get there, but trust us, it’s worth it! From the Sanctum, take the left exit outside and glide straight into the entrance of the tower. Welcome to Princess Zelda’s Study!
Unfortunately, no cap in sight. But fear not, my dear adventurers! Cross the stone bridge quickly, as it might collapse in the middle. Then, drop into the hole of the new building to discover Princess Zelda’s Room. Sneak your way to the treasure chest hidden behind some changing dividers, and voila! The Royal Guard Cap is yours to wear with pride.
Step 2: The Royal Guard Uniform
While still looting in Princess Zelda’s Room, exit through the wall hole next to the Royal Guard Cap chest. Glide down below the floating Hyrule Castle to the First Gatehouse. You’ll spot a giant doorway on the path to the gatehouse – that’s where we’re headed!
Inside, use your trusty Ultrahand to lift up two gates, then head up the stairs and take an immediate left to avoid any pesky enemies. The adventure continues as we reach the Guards Chambers. Descend the stairs further until you spot a wooden walkway above a pool of Gloom.
Now, here’s where things can get a little tricky. You need to traverse the walkway through the Gloom. Be quick or equip some Gloom-resistant gear to minimize the damage. Ascend skillfully, and at the top, your bravery will be rewarded with a treasure chest containing the Royal Guard Uniform!
Step 3: The Royal Guard Boots
We’re not done just yet, brave adventurers! Return to Hyrule Castle from the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, but this time, go around to the right side of the castle. Look out for a shrine hiding behind the castle, called the Serutabomac Shrine.
Activate the shrine, then take a leap of faith by hopping down the cliff twice. Look for a secret passageway beneath the shrine. Follow the stairs until you reach the library. It might seem quiet, but there’s a surprise waiting for you on the bottom floor.
Facing the entrance, you’ll notice a massive bookcase. Equip your Ultrahand, and presto! Move the bookcase aside to reveal the King’s Study. And guess what awaits you there? That’s right, another treasure chest! Open it up, and you’ve got yourself the fabulous Royal Guard Boots.
