Of course, saving the Duke after all this time is no walk in the park. The further we go, the more problems come crashing in like a tidal wave. So, if you’re up for a challenge and enjoy doing things the hard way, let’s dive in! Just don’t forget your snorkel.

Where To Find Duke Ravengard

Find Duke Ravengard

To locate our elusive Duke, we need to poke our noses into the shady business of Flymm Cargo. Venture down through the door in the floor, make your way through the cargo hold’s basement, and voila! You’ll find yourself face-to-face with a submersible.

Now, here’s the tricky part. Sweet talk the dwarf man, Redhammer the Deviser, into taking you down to the Iron Throne. Oh, and don’t be surprised when Gortash tries to stop you with a video call. Just refuse and continue docking at the Iron Throne, because nothing can stand in our way!

Duke Ravengard is hiding inside the sinking Iron Throne. You can either search the ship with your own two eyes or use the nifty Scrying Eye device on the west side of the ship. He likes to stay in the center cell on the east side. Just follow the sound of his royal grumbling.

How To Save Duke Ravengard

Save Duke Ravengard

Time is of the essence, my friends! We must save Duke Ravengard within the six allotted turns. If we don’t, well, let’s just say things won’t end well for him or anyone else left behind. We need to act fast!

Our best strategy is to send one healer to save the Duke while the rest of the party focuses on rescuing the other prisoners. Once you’ve reached Duke Ravengard’s cell, release him by pulling the lever to the right. And guess what? You now have the honor of controlling him in your turn order.

Now, here’s where things get interesting. Move Duke Ravengard forward to trigger a special scene with Mizora. But beware! Once he kneels down, his turn is wasted and you won’t be able to move any further. Not to worry though, some pesky spiders will appear, but we can handle them with ease.

Use all your gaming skills to Dash and Jump back to the ladder in the central room. Once you reach the ladder, climb up and get Duke Ravengard into the submersible. It’s like our very own getaway car, ready to ride us out of this sinking ship scenario.

Huzzah! The submersible has risen with all passengers safe and sound. Duke Ravengard, forever grateful for being rescued, will head back to our camp. That’s right, he’s joining our party!

To have a heart-to-heart with our newly saved Duke, return to your camp and find him standing near Wyll’s tent. Oh, and don’t forget to make sure Wyll is in your party before you start the conversation. It’s like a family reunion, but with swords and spells.

Through some epic dialogue, we can reconcile father and son. Once that’s done, Duke Ravengard will pledge himself and his followers to aid us in the coming battle. Finally, after a heroic journey filled with laughter and frustration, we can put an end to the Saving the Duke quest.
