But beware of the boss’s back! Landing a few hits from behind might seem like a good idea, but stay there for too long, and you’ll trigger the boss’s back throw attack. Picture this monstrosity throwing itself onto the ground, trying to squish you like a bug. Yikes!

But wait, there’s more! In its aggro state, the Congregator of Flesh will attempt a charged mouth dash attack. Depending on the boss’s distance from you, it might opt for a hand smash into a mouth dash combo or skip the hand smash altogether. Either way, it’s not going to be pleasant.

So, you want to take down this monstrosity? Well, listen closely, my brave warrior. Patience is key. Rushing headfirst into battle is a surefire way to get yourself killed. Instead, keep calm, look for openings, and follow these bulletproof strategies.
First and foremost, take out the Umbral entity lurking behind the boss’s right leg. Do it as soon as the battle begins, or you’ll face reduced damage and amplified pain. Trust me, you don’t want that.
Next, make good use of the boss’s vulnerability: its back. Redirect your attacks to its posterior, as most of its defense mechanisms are designed for frontal assaults. And take advantage of elemental weaknesses. The Congregator of Flesh is particularly vulnerable to bleed, holy, and fire damage. So grab a melee bleed weapon and go to town. And if you’re a melee class character, don’t forget to stock up on fire, bleed, and holy salts to imbue your weapon with elemental buffs.
Whether you wield a heavy or light weapon, timing is critical. Heavy hitters get three standard attacks or two heavy attacks before the boss can retaliate. For those with lighter weapons, you’ve got room for four or five quick hits. Just make sure to dodge any incoming attacks promptly.
