Pick up the key again and jump on the spring to reach the yellow switch. Press the switch to activate it.

Since the red switch is activated, there are no blue blocks between the first and second floors. This allows you to grab the Bob-omb, jump down, and break the stone wall. This opens up the left side of Area 2.
Next, grab one of the Bob-ombs, take it to the left area, and break the stone blocks to access the blue switch. Press the switch to activate it.
