The Sims 4 has been around for nearly a decade, and it’s still going strong. With 14 expansion packs released so far, there’s no shortage of new content to explore. From pets to extreme weather conditions, each pack brings something unique to the table. But which are the best ones? Fear not, we have ranked them all for you!
14. Get To Work
Get To Work was the earliest expansion pack, and it shows. While the interactive careers like doctor, detective, and scientist were fun, they did come with their fair share of glitches. The introduction of aliens and retail stores was exciting, but they have since been improved upon in later packs. Overall, Get To Work is a decent expansion, but it hasn’t aged as well as others.
13. High School Years
High School Years focuses on the teen Sim experience, but it falls short compared to other expansions. While the new world and Create-a-Sim options are decent, they don’t offer enough to justify the price. However, for fans of the series or those who love reliving high school memories, it may still be worth a look.
12. Get Famous
Get Famous is a polarizing pack that introduces fame and a new world. While the fame system can be erratic and repetitive, the interactive acting and content creation careers are fun at first. However, unless you’re really into the fame system, this pack may not see much use in your day-to-day gameplay.

11. Get Together
Get Together brings the versatile club system and the beautiful world of Windenburg. The club system allows you to form groups of Sims and set club goals, which adds a new layer of gameplay. While some features of this pack may not be used regularly, Windenburg remains one of the best worlds in the game.
10. Snowy Escape
Snowy Escape is all about winter sports and the beautiful Japanese-inspired world of Mt. Komorebi. Whether you love snowboarding or want to immerse yourself in Japanese culture, this pack offers something unique. Plus, who doesn’t enjoy a snowy getaway?
9. Cats & Dogs
If you’re an animal lover, Cats & Dogs is the perfect expansion for you. With adorable cats and dogs to play with, as well as the interactive Veterinary career, there’s plenty of fun to be had. However, if you’re not interested in pets, this pack may not be for you.
8. Horse Ranch
After years of waiting, the Horse Ranch expansion finally arrived. With customizable horses and a wide range of ranch-related activities, this pack caters to horse lovers. The extensive Create-a-Sim options and in-depth gameplay add a new level of immersion.
7. City Living
City Living brings apartments, work-from-home careers, festivals, and the bustling city of San Myshuno. The apartment system adds a new element to gameplay, and the work-from-home careers have better longevity compared to others. It’s a great pack for those who crave a change of pace.
