For those unfamiliar, the Yiga Clan is a group of banana-obsessed foot soldiers led by the madman Master Kohga. They love stealing anything they can get their hands on and are known for disguising themselves as innocent travelers. In Tears of the Kingdom, they’re back and ready to trick poor Link at every turn.
But fear not, because Reddit user Huydeptrai0794 has shown us how to turn the tables on these tricksters. In their clip, Link sprints past an unsuspecting traveler, only to activate a deadly Zonai contraption with an arrow. After this, he engages in a conversation with the stranger who asks if he’s heard of the Yiga Clan. Before Link can respond, the traveler reveals his true identity and threatens him. Little does he know, a device triggered by the contraption falls on him in a spectacular explosion, reducing him to ashes in an instant. Talk about a well-timed burn!
So, how can you spot these sneaky Yiga Clan members? Look for the name above their heads. If an NPC is wandering around Hyrule with the title “Traveler” instead of an actual name, chances are it’s a Yiga member in disguise. As for the explosive contraption, the player’s creation remains a mystery. But what matters most is the impeccable timing that led to the fiery demise of the Yiga member.
This isn’t the first case of players messing with the Yiga Clan in Tears of the Kingdom. There was another player who hilariously trolled one of them while they were gliding through the sky.
