Honkai: Star Rail - Blade Team Guide

Blade: The Mysterious Stelleron Hunter

In the world of Honkai: Star Rail, Blade is a character that’s as mysterious as he is deadly. Version 1.2 introduced Blade as a playable character, and let me tell you, he’s truly one of a kind. You see, Blade has transformed into a living blade, leaving his physical body behind. It’s an incredible sight to behold, and it’s not just for show. Blade is a powerful swordsman with amazing abilities both in lore and in gameplay.

His kit revolves around sacrificing his own HP to unleash devastating damage, kind of like Hu Tao from Genshin Impact. With Blade, you’ll be playing with fire, risking your HP for immense power. His Skill and Ultimate abilities consume his HP, but don’t worry, he can recover some of it thanks to his Talent. It’s all about finding the right balance between offense and defense with Blade.

Team Compositions for Blade

Now, let’s talk about some team compositions that work well with Blade. Remember, these are just examples, and you’re free to mix and match to suit your playstyle.

Team Composition 1: Blade + Dan Heng + Asta + March 7th

Team Composition 1

If you’re looking for a completely free-to-play team, this one is for you. Blade is the star of the show, with Dan Heng and Asta supporting him. Asta provides a valuable speed boost, while Dan Heng slows down enemies, giving your team a huge advantage. March 7th, another F2P character, adds to the team’s damage output and offers defensive capabilities. You can even replace her with Natasha if you prefer.

Team Composition 2: Blade + Pela + Fire Trailblazer + Natasha

Team Composition 2

Here’s another composition to consider, still keeping it relatively free-to-play. Natasha and Fire Trailblazer provide strong defensive options, while Pela brings the damage. Blade and Pela have great synergy, as Pela can decrease enemy DEF, making them more vulnerable to Blade’s attacks. This team excels at both offense and defense, making it a well-balanced choice.

Team Composition 3: Blade + Tingyun + Arlan + Bailu

Team Composition 3

If you’re facing enemies weak to Lightning, this team composition will shine. Tingyun’s ATK buffs may not benefit Blade directly, but they are certainly helpful for Arlan, another character who enhances his attacks by consuming HP. Together, they deliver both AoE and Single Target damage. Bailu’s AoE heals ensure the team stays in the fight, and she can even revive fallen allies.

Team Composition 4: Blade + Bronya + Silver Wolf + Gepard

Team Composition 4

Now, if you’re fortunate enough to have access to 5-star characters, this team composition is one of the best for Blade. Bronya, a fantastic support character, boosts Blade’s damage and provides ATK and Crit DMG buffs to the whole team. Silver Wolf reduces enemy DEF, which benefits Blade, and inflicts Wind weakness, giving Blade more versatility. Gepard adds a defensive touch, making this composition ideal for challenging content.

Team Composition 5: Blade + Welt + Yukong + Luocha

Team Composition 5

Last but not least, we have a team that revolves around Blade and Luocha. Luocha’s healing abilities synergize perfectly with Blade’s playstyle, allowing him to maintain his HP and keep fighting. Yukong and Welt round out the team with their Imaginary powers, making them highly effective against enemies weak to Imaginary. With this team, you’ll have both offense and healing capabilities to handle any situation.

Remember, these are just a few examples, and the beauty of Honkai: Star Rail is the flexibility to customize your team compositions. Experiment, have fun, and unleash Blade’s destructive power on your enemies!

Honkai: Star Rail is available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
