Fae Farm Fishing Guide: Everything You Need to Know

Fae Farm Fishing Guide: Everything You Need to Know

Quick Links

Fae Farm knows how to ride the fishing wave that has become a staple in farming sims these days. Eddy, the enthusiastic fisherman in Azoria, will be your fishing guide on this pixelated aquatic adventure. With an abundance of different fish and a comfortable fishing mechanic, you’ll be reeling in big catches in no time.

But before we dive into the depths of Fae Farm’s fishing world, let’s talk about the basics. Remember, it’s all about casting your rod and catching those slippery critters.

How To Fish

Fishing for a rare fish in Fae Farm

Fishing is one of the earliest skills you’ll learn on Fae Farm. The Mayor will send you to meet Eddy, who can be found outside his fishing shop in Stay-a-While Bay. Eddy, being the friendly fisherman he is, will give you your first fishing rod.

To test out your newfound angling abilities, Eddy wants you to catch any fish and bring it back to him. Head down to the shoreline, cast your rod into the water from your tool ring, and watch as a majestic growing arrow extends into the depths, accompanied by a blue bobber. Release the button to throw your line and hope for the best!

But wait, don’t just cast blindly! Take a moment to observe the fish swimming in the water. They follow predictable patterns, so make sure to aim your cast where the fish are looking to improve your chances of landing a big one.

Once your line is in the water, it’s time to catch a fish’s attention. Jiggle your lure a bit, and when a fish latches on, hold the button on the screen to reel it in.

Beware though, some fish may put up a fight, and your line might turn red. If the fish has a struggle emoji above its head, ease up on the button for a moment. You don’t want to break your line, do you?

Once you’ve successfully brought the fish back to your farmer, they’ll be added to your inventory. And guess what? If it’s a fish you’re catching for the first time, you’ll also unlock a new entry in your Almanac. How’s that for a fishing victory dance?

Upgrade Your Fishing Rod For Easier Fishing

Just like any skilled angler, you’ll want to upgrade your fishing gear as you become a master. Head back to Eddy’s shop when you have enough Florins to spare and ask him to open shop. He’ll have a selection of rods available for purchase.

All Fishing Rods And The Level At Which They Unlock

Rod Name Level Unlocked Price (Florins) Materials
Sturdy Rod 3 1,000 Starter Rod
Advanced Rod 5 2,500 Sturdy Rod
Master Rod 7 5,000 Advanced Rod

Remember, even if you can see all the rods in Eddy’s inventory from the start, they won’t be available for purchase until you’ve reached the necessary skill level. So level up, earn those Florins, and upgrade your fishing rod to make reeling in those fish a piece of cake.
