Honkai: Star Rail - World 7 Guide

Quick Links

Abundant Ebon Deer, the final boss in Simulated Universe World 7 (SU7) of Honkai: Star Rail, is an epic battle that consists of three stages. But fear not, fellow gamers! The core idea of fighting the Deer remains the same. In addition to the Deer, the SU7 version also introduces other powerful foes like The Ascended and Malefic Ape, who have made their way into the Elite Bosses lineup in the latest update.

Now, here’s the best part: even F2P players with lower levels can conquer this challenge if they follow the Path of Preservation, which is often underrated. Whether you’re a F2P player or a seasoned gamer, this guide will provide you with everything you need to know to achieve victory in Simulated Universe World 7 of Honkai: Star Rail.

Simulated Universe World 7 In Honkai: Star Rail

Abundant Ebon Deer

In Simulated Universe World 7 of Honkai: Star Rail, the final boss is the notorious Abundant Ebon Deer. You may have already encountered this formidable foe in the Humming Antlers, Entwined Horns Trailblaze mission, but be warned, this version comes with three phases instead of the usual two.

During the battle, the Deer will summon four types of Ambrosial Arbor Branch. Here’s a summary of all the enemies you’ll face in Simulated Universe World 7:

Enemy Weakness Toughness Phase
Abundant Ebon Deer Fire, Ice, Quantum 420 1, 2, 3
Twig of Wintry Wind Ice, Quantum, Imaginary 90 1, 2, 3
Twig of Marple Leaf Fire, Quantum 90 1, 2, 3
Twig of Glorious Blooms Ice, Imaginary 90 2
Twig of Lavish Fruits Fire, Quantum, Imaginary 120 3

It’s worth mentioning that the Abundant Ebon Deer also has Frozen and Imprisonment resistance, which can make it challenging to use the Remembrance Blessing path that focuses on Freezing the enemy.

In the first two phases, the Abundant Ebon Deer is relatively manageable, but in the third phase, watch out for the Twig of Lavish Fruits. If these branches successfully produce two Lavish Fruits, the boss will unleash its deadly Flamboyant Gore attack, capable of wiping out your entire team.

Here’s what each branch does:

  • Twig of Wintry Wind: Applies the Outrage debuff, causing the target to randomly attack the Abundant Ebon Deer’s team with their basic attack.
  • Twig of Marple Leaf: Enters a counter state, dealing Lightning DMG to the attacker when hit.
  • Twig of Glorious Blooms: Heals all allies.
  • Twig of Lavish Fruits: Produces Lavish Fruits, enabling the boss to unleash its deadly Flamboyant Gore ability.

The easiest path for players to beat Simulated Universe World 7 in Honkai: Star Rail, especially for F2P players, is either the Preservation or Elation Path.

Preservation Path Guide For Simulated Universe World 7

F2P Preservation Team
  • F2P team: Fire Trailblazer – March 7th – Natasha – Serval
  • Best team: Fire Trailblazer – Gepard – Luocha – Seele
  • Alternative characters: Yanqing, Herta, Himeko, Welt, Silver Wolf

Thanks to the boss’ constant AoE hits, the Preservation Path remains the easiest method for under-leveled and F2P players to conquer this stage. The primary strategy revolves around the Divine Construct: Metastatic Field Blessing, which causes the attacker to take damage when an ally protected by a shield is attacked.

To execute this strategy, use Fire Trailblazer to Taunt the enemy, March 7th to provide additional protection, and watch as the enemy takes significant Fire DMG with every hit.

Keep in mind that this damage seems to scale with DMG Bonus and Crit, so be sure to equip your tank with Elemental DMG Bonus and Crit Relics. Consider blessings like Construct: Concentration, Construct: Burst, Skirting Life and Death, and Shrewd Arrangement to enhance your team’s Crit Rate and DMG.
